This exciting opportunity is for a highly motivated person to join our expanding Finance team.
Role overview
Fully own and take responsibility for the Group Finance Function, creating, implementing and successfully ensuring maintenance of the Group Financial policies, and procedures to ensure an effective and controlled environment. Providing key strategic information to the Senior Leadership team to enable the successful growth of the business enabling it to meet its key financial targets and objectives.
Job Purpose:
The GFC is accountable through the business cycle for:
- Delivering a robust financial reporting and control environment
- Creating, implementing and ensuring maintenance of the Group Financial policies, and procedures, ensuring an effective and controlled environment
- Providing key strategic financial information to the Board and Senior Leadership team.
Accountabilities:
Reporting
- Take full ownership and accountability for the development and maintenance of the Group Finance function, including Group reporting, management reporting, and tax and treasury ensuring full compliance to financial governance in each territory.
- Manage the internal reporting processes, including consolidated monthly management accounts, balance sheet reconciliations and ad-hoc reporting as required by the business and PE owners. Establish reporting timeframes and continual improvement to processes.
- Oversee the drafting and collation of monthly board packs and management reports to the Board, lenders, investors and other key external stakeholders. Ensuring timing and accuracy of required information.
- Provide support to the CFO in presenting reports to senior management and board members.
- Manage the Group’s cashflows, and forecasting provide accurate and timely reporting to the Board, Senior Leadership Team and external stakeholders as appropriate.
Audit & Tax
- Manage the day-to-day relationships with lenders and funders, ensuring the Group remains covenant compliant.
- Manage the relationship with the external audit teams and be accountable for audit deliverables including draft statutory accounts and tax schedules.
- Deliver draft annual statutory accounts for the group in accordance with the correct technical accounting standards.
- Tax and Treasury management, including multi-currency, FX and hedging strategies.
- Provide technical accounting expertise to the Group ensuring all entities are adhering to technical accounting standards. Produce Group technical accounting requirements including acquisition accounting and intercompany transactions.
- Preparation and submission of the quarterly VAT returns and monthly PAYE returns to HMRC, and relevant payments are made.
- Oversee the monthly preparation and processing of all Group company payrolls.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders on the implementation, integration and ongoing improvement of finance software systems.
M&A & Integration
- Oversee the financing and accounting for acquisitions as part of the groups Buy and Build facility, ensure the smooth transition of acquired businesses into the group reporting, treasury and accounting procedures.
- Drive the integration of acquisitions into the core financial reporting function and oversee the implementation of the financial system.
Controls
- Monitoring and maintaining controls and ensuring the financial integrity of the financial system data and financial controls.
Resource
- Build a team that can deliver the capabilities required to support the ongoing needs of the Group.
- Develop a graduate program and culture of continuous improvement and learning within the finance team to streamline processes to enable the business to scale while removing manual work to drive efficiency.
Success criteria:
- Development, delivery and maintenance of the Group Finance function reporting requirements in line with governance requirements and Group targets.
- Develop the team capabilities required to support the needs of the Group’s ambitions.
- Ensure Amtivo’s Corporate Financial and Legal Governance compliance across all entities.
- Develop relationships with key internal and external stakeholders that maintain Amtivo’ s professional reputation within the industry.

Competencies:
