Amtivo Group is a Private Equity-owned business in the early stages of its second investment cycle.  This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a business with ambitions to grow significantly both organically and through an acquisition strategy, and as part of a growing finance team, it will provide the successful candidate with a broad range of experience in a constantly changing environment.

Who are we looking for?

We are seeking to appoint a conscientious, enthusiastic and ambitious Group Accountant to play a vital role in delivering growth to the company by using their already excellent accounting, organisation and problem-solving skills. Reporting directly to the Group Reporting Manager, this is a key role that will get involved in all aspects of the Group finances both in the UK and internationally.

Candidates must possess a good work ethic and excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both verbal and written, as well as being proficient time-managers, and genuine team players.


  • Deliver monthly consolidated P&L and balance sheet.
  • Prepare board and bank reporting packs.
  • Ownership of group consolidation.
  • Support Group Reporting Manager.
  • Support with statutory accounts preparation and tax returns.
  • HO recharges and intercompany reconciliations.


Overall reporting accountabilities include:

  • Manage monthly reporting from all UK and international subsidiaries, coordinating submissions from subsidiaries, and reports thereon.
  • Prepare reporting for board and banking recipients.
  • Onboarding new acquisitions and setting up reporting rhythms.
  • Support annual Group audit as day to day contact with external auditors.
  • Prepare information for annual statutory accounts for UK-based Group entities.
  • Support with annual tax return preparation.
  • Cash flow reporting and forecasting.
  • Undertake monthly HO recharges and intercompany reconciliations.
  • Support territory finance teams with group reporting requirements.
  • Understanding of group financial relationships including loans and interest structures.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement and development of Finance Team and tasks.


  • Qualified accountant – ACA or equivalent.
  • Experience of statutory accounts process and audit, experience of reporting under FRS 102 for consolidated and standalone accounts an advantage.
  • Experience with multi-currency consolidations a benefit.
  • Works effectively under pressure and takes responsibility for delivering to timescales.
  • Attention to detail and ability to drill down on numbers.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, tactical and operational thinker.
  • Willingness to learn and adapt.
  • Team Player.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Excellent IT skills, especially Excel (NetSuite experience preferable).
