Advanced Certification FAQ’s

Acquisition of Advanced Certification. Information for Advanced Certification (Overseas) clients 

Earlier this year, ADVANCED CERTIFICATION was acquired by Amtivo Group.   We have provided below further information to help Advanced Certification clients to understand more about the changes and how this acquisition will affect them and their business.   

I am a new client and have an audit booked. How will this impact me and my business? 

If you have an audit booked or due on 30th April your audit will be performed by Advanced Certification in the usual way. If your audit is booked or due on or after 1st May it will be performed by Amtivo Group, however, you will continue to work with your local representative.   

I am an existing client and have a surveillance visit booked. How will this impact me and my business? 

If you have a surveillance audit booked or due on or before 30th April your audit will be performed by Advanced Certification in the usual way. If your surveillance audit is booked or due on or after 1st May it will be performed by Amtivo Group and where possible it will be conducted by your existing Advanced Certification Auditor.  

I am an existing client – will my certificate be re-issued under the Amtivo Group brand? 

We will prepare to transfer your certificates to Amtivo and you will receive a replacement e-certificate in the Amtivo branding soon after the transition.  

My website and marketing materials feature the Advanced Certification certificate and branding – do I need to change these over? 

It’s important that any references to your certification are updated to reflect the appropriate certification body. Therefore, once the transfer is completed, we will contact you and provide further information. We will provide you with digital copies of your certificate and Amtivo-branded assets to use online. Should you have any questions or concerns about this, please contact your usual representative.   

Will your prices change? 

We do not have plans to change the standard pricing for the services you currently receive, which are set by our local partner.  

Will there be any additional costs for the transition from Advanced Certification to Amtivo Group? 

There will be no additional costs associated with your transition from Advanced Certification to Amtivo Group.  

Will my auditor change? 

We are keen to maintain, as much as possible, all your existing infrastructure and contacts. Therefore, where it suits both parties, you will be able to continue working with your existing auditor, provided it complies with UKAS rules.  

Will the remote audit and the inspection process still be the same? 

The audit process will remain unchanged unless UKAS requires us to make changes.  

Will our Advanced Certification certificate still be valid if it doesn’t run out until next year? 

Your Advanced Certification certificate will be replaced with a certificate issued by Amtivo, which will have the same expiry date as your current certificate.
